Korean Eye: Energy and Matter is a collection of key works by 21 contemporary Korean artists: painters, sculptors and photographers. This exhibition wants to highlight how contemporary Korean artists are exploring and bringing into play a wide diversity of new materials bound together by the use of time-established and more innovative techniques. The exhibition is presented by Standard Chartered who, as the Lead Sponsor, is committed to help and participate in the development of Korean Art, both on home ground and internationally.

코리안 아이: 에너지와 물질전은 회화, 조각, 사진을 포함해 21명 한국현대작가들의 핵심작품들을 선보인다. 이 전시는 동시대 한국가들이 어떻게 폭넓은 영역의 새로운 재료들을 탐색하고 이를 시간을 요하는 작업과정과 보다 창의적인 테크닉으로 결합하는 가에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이 전시는 코리안 아이의 주후원사로서 국내외로 한국현대미술의 발전에 힘써온 한국스탠다드차타드금융지주가 주최하였다.
