Korean Eye 2012 Opens at the Saatchi Gallery

Korean Eye: 2012 officially launched at the Saatchi Gallery on Wednesday, July 25th to an international audience of VIP guests, exhibition sponsors and members of London’s artistic community. An opening reception was held to celebrate the opening, along with a traditional Korean ribbon cutting ceremony with the founders of Korean Eye and their distinguished guests, including Mr. Jeremy Browne MP - Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Dr. Tim Miller - Director, Property, Research & Assurance and Chairman, Standard Chartered Korea, Dr. Han Seung-soo ­ Former Prime Mister of Korea & Independent Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered Bank, Richard Hill - CEO of Standard Chartered First Bank Korea Ltd, Mr. Charm Lee ­ CEO of Korea Tourism Organization, David and Serenella Ciclitira, co-founders of Korean Eye and Nigel Hurst, CEO of the Saatchi Gallery.


As well as viewing the exhibition, which took up the entire 70,000 Sq. Ft. of the Saatchi Gallery, guests enjoyed a traditional Korean drum performance by Dulsori and speeches from David Ciclitira, Richard Hill, Nigel Hurst, Charm Lee and Dr. Han. Korean Eye: 2012 is sponsored by lead partner, Standard Chartered Bank Korea, and will run from 25 July to 23 September at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
